    Interesting spot, the goldrush town that never really was. Good spot to break up the trip, have a look around and use the amenities

    Spring 2017. more snow on the way but who cares. you drive in this part of the national park and stop without paying fees.

    Handy public toilet facilities, however the historic building displays no opening hours.
