    So absolutely peaceful...beautiful easy walk way..

    A really beautiful camp ground on the river. The water is freezing but makes for a refreshing dip. The toilets were pretty good for a camp ground. There is no drinking water so all water must be brought to the site.

    Relatively large area that caters for a large amount of people. Many fire pits are available and toilets are present. Gets quite chilly in the early morning and throughout the night. During summer, weather gets quite warm especially during noon, making the Thredbo River quite suitable for swimming. Nearby track links this campground to the Thredbo Diggings Campground.
