    It's a wonderful driving destination for Sydney siders albeit 6 hrs. You can drive up to the Pass and relax enjoying the famed panoramic vista from the lookout. Also highly recommend for start hiking Mt Kosciuszko from there, a 18.6km return grade 3 difficulty. It's the highest place of Australia. Equally brilliant alt option is Hiking from sister village, Thredbo. Don't miss it...

    Wonderful Spring scenery but lack of shops/cafe at this time offputting

    Great place to start a hike from. Beautiful view I love going. However the parking is not good. You often have to pick on the rough road edge and walk to the pass.
